Editor: Onur, at just 20 years old you caught the attention of the international fashion industry. How did your story begin?
Onur Osman: I had the privilege of an education surrounded by culture and elite people. My family taught me to value art, refinement and discipline. This formed me not only as a designer, but as a person.
Editor: Today you have over 5 million international followers. How do you live this digital dimension?
Onur Osman: It is a great responsibility. I am not just a fashion influencer, but I try to be a cultural influencer. Through my posts, I want to inspire in the direction of art, style and luxury culture, not just clothes.
Editor: In a podcast you said that “fashion is not a circus”. What did you want to convey?
Onur Osman: That true fashion does not lie in scandals. The circus brings noise, but not money, not value, not investment. Modern luxury is based on ethics, culture and sustainability. An international business cannot survive if it compromises its morality.
Editor: Your brand, Onur Osman™, has grown spectacularly. What is the key to success?
Onur Osman: I founded the brand in 2016, and today we have over 150 employees and a turnover that has grown even during the pandemic, exceeding 5 million euros. The key? Creativity balanced with discipline. We have received the “Best Designer of the Year” award for years in a row, but the biggest prize is our team and our shared vision.
Editor: How would you describe your aesthetic?
Onur Osman: It is a dialogue between innovation and timelessness. I dare with new cuts and metallic details, but I remain faithful to classic elegance – pearls, crystals, lines inspired by architecture and global traditions. For me, fashion is a universal language that combines strength with fluidity.
Editor: Are you also an art collector? How does this relate to fashion?
Onur Osman: Fashion cannot exist without art. I have paintings, sculptures and objects of considerable value, but the real value is the inspiration they give me. I travel a lot and bring diverse cultural elements to my creations. Thus, each collection also becomes a performative exhibition.
Editor: What defines you beyond the catwalks?
Onur Osman: I am a visionary, an entrepreneur, but above all a man who believes in cultural dialogue. Fashion is aesthetics, culture and status. I want to leave a solid legacy, based on authenticity and sustainability.
Editor: Your teachers said from the beginning that you would have a lasting impact. Do you find yourself in that "prophecy"?
Onur Osman: Yes. I believe that we are here to build beauty, and I feel that this is just the beginning. over time. As the press has often stated, like my teachers, I will definitely write a new page in the great book of fashion.
